Where your donation goes

Technology: Digital preservation projects and our digital collections require ever-increasing amounts of storage and bandwidth. Plus, playback of old audio formats requires the repair, upkeep, and purchase of devices to reproduce the sounds of our collections.

Staff: WIMA maintains a small staff, but additional resources can help us expand our efforts to preserve and provide access to Irish music. Additional funding can help us to hire more archives, library, and sound reproduction professionals to fulfill our mission.

Projects: From collaborative projects with partner institutions to digitize Irish music to creating more digital collections around our Irish American musical heritage, WIMA has a number of future projects in need of funding. Help us!
