Billy Caples & His Orchestra: Old Maids of Galway/George White's Favorites (reels)

This week's disc features an ensemble led by accordionist Billy Caples on a couple reels. Boston-based Caples was inspired by Joe Derrane and early 78rpm recordings. He played in Johnny Powell's band before leading his own group. Caples was also a founding member of the Reynolds-Hanafin-Cooley branch of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann.
