We've surpassed the two year mark of posting a 78rpm disc per week (originally per day back in the early days) on our Work From Home Playlist. This week's disc features John Griffin's flute and lilting work on a tune titled The Autumn Leaves Are Falling which sounds to be a march or march-like polka. Griffin, known as the Fifth Avenue Busman, was originally from Roscommon.
Recorded in 1932 and released on the Regal Zonophone label (MR1802). From the Ted McGraw Collection, McGraw 78 02-096.
