78rpm Disc: Paddy Killoran and His Pride of Erin Orchestra: Donegal Lassies/Stirling Castle (flings)
These two flings were recorded by Paddy Killoran's ensemble on December 29, 1931. Donegal Lassies is also known as Duncan Davidson (or Davison). Stirling Castle is also know as Gray Day Light.
Spottswood notes that the Imperial label release of this disc is attributed to Murphy, Killoran, and Ryan, which somewhat verifies that Paul Ryan (likely on fiddle here) and Denis Murphy (accordion) were amongst the musicians recording with Paddy Killoran on this date.
Released on the Crown label (3263-B). From the Ted McGraw Collection, McGraw 78 01-161.
