The Four Provinces Orchestra: The Drummer Boy (flings)

Continuing on with the flings from last week's track, here's another set of flings from a 78rpm disc recorded the Four Provinces Orchestra in 1929. These two tunes have been recorded together by other musicians as the Four Provinces Flings. The first tune seems to be the related to the melody of the Scottish song The Piper O'Dundee, and Alan Ng of irishtune.info notes the similarity of the second tune with Laddie with the Pladdie.

Released on the Vocalion label (84031). From the Ted McGraw Collection, McGraw 78 00-870.
