Patrick Doran: Morning Star Reel

This week's disc features flutist Patrick Doran with the Morning Star. This was recorded in 1924 with Kathleen Kearney on piano and released on the Gennett label (5634). Doran's solo sides were recorded in Richmond, Indiana. He later recorded in Chicago with several other musicians in 1926 and 1927, some under the group name Bowen's Irish Orchestra.
