Tom Ennis: Walsh Favorite/Butcher's March (jigs)

This week's 78rpm disc features uilleann piper Tom Ennis with a set of jigs. These were recorded in 1921 and released on the Emerson label (10394).

Nick Whitmer has an extensive timeline of Ennis' life on his Lives of the Pipers site (livesofthepipers.com/1ennistom.html). During this period of his life, Ennis was living in New York and actively recording, playing on the radio, organizing events, and making and selling recordings for others.
