Ted McGraw's Button Accordion Pages

Ted McGraw's website - tedmcgraw.com - was a treasure trove of information about Irish, Canadian, and Scottish music he gathered over the years. His pages on various button accordions in particular were valuable resources for those researching the history of that instrument in Irish and Irish American contexts. Along with his physical collection, Ted also provided the Ward Irish Music Archives with a backup of his website files and images. With his site now offline, WIMA will make Ted's research available through our own site.

Accordion Pages Index: The following pages contain pictures of old instruments, some bits of their history, their players, and hopefully in the future, some discographies and sound clips. This is a work in progress and contrubutors are many.
When I started collecting these photos, I didn’t consider that they might end up on the web, so thanks are due many people,
and I sincerely apologize for not keeping track of individual sources. Please let me know if I’ve missed credits.
There is also a section on some new accordions with no attempt to make it complete. [Ted McGraw, c.2014]
